Legal Secretary


We are seeking a reliable and experienced full-time Personal Injury Legal Secretary with pre-litigation and litigation experience to join our team. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of personal injury secretarial experience with excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handling of all aspects of a personal injury file, including but not limited to,
  • Scheduling appointments;
  • Maintaining a professional relationship with clients, the courts, other law firms, and insurance companies;
  • Request and obtain records, bills, and documents;
  • Constant client contact.


Education, Skills, and Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required;
  • Minimum of 2 years of personal injury secretary or comparable industry required;
  • Demonstrated ability to work and communicate professionally;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs,· Trial Work software experience, and Bilingual skills a plus.

Paralegal


We are seeking an experienced Full-Time or Part-Time Paralegal with at least two years of experience. The candidate will independently manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment and serve as an attorney’s legal assistant.


Required Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills

A minimum of two years of experience as a paralegal/legal assistant is required. NJ PIP experience and familiarity with statutes, codes, and local rules are required. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well independently, is detail-oriented, and can follow instructions. Professional appearance and manner are expected. Personal Injury law experience and Spanish speaking are highly desired. TrialWorks experience is a plus. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Interview potential clients;
  • Constant client contact;
  • Manage PIP and lien issues;
  • Request and obtain records, bills, and documents;
  • Assist in case of management, drafting case-related documents, such as deposition summaries and mediation briefs;
  • Preparing cases for trial;
  • Work independently to maintain, organize, and file-related information;
  • Digitally and manually record and store client information; and,
  • The candidate will handle a full caseload of civil personal injury cases.
